[Having Lucifer around may be strange for Meg, but that applies to Castiel as well. Strange wouldn't even be the right word for it. Castiel literally has no idea how to handle that situation, and so he's been avoiding the Devil just the same.

Seeing how Lucifer's been quiet since his arrival and hasn't even spoken to him about the tablet, that's been a simple enough task. But he can hardly shake the feeling that at some point, something's going to snap or shift and then they'll all be in worlds of trouble.

If Lucifer is busy, Castiel has no idea what with, and that alone is a worrying thought.

While Meg's teasing is always difficult for him to deal with, he does have the benefit of speaking through text, at a distance, which gives him time to formulate a response.

Maybe texting does have one upside.]

[ She just smirks down at her screen. Good ol' Clarence. Her feelings aren't bruised at all, she likes this back and forth between them. It's weird to even have something resembling a rapport with an angel, and just like her status of straddling the line of being 'good' and being 'bad' she's not sure how well it sits with her.

Doesn't mean she won't roll with it. She'll do what feels natural, it's the only way to go. ]

[ Lucifer is certainly in a category all his own, and one she doesn't want to put a label on. She can't predict his reaction to her lending a helping hand to the Winchesters, and she doesn't want to test that unknown. She's happy keeping her activities quiet. ]

[If it's weird for Meg to have a rapport with an angel, it's even stranger for Castiel to have a rapport with a demon. It goes against everything he's ever been taught, but the fact is that he can't put nearly as much stock in Heaven's teachings as he once had.

Which doesn't necessarily justify what he's doing, but nothing has been right in years, according to what he should be. He's been twisted and changed and altered so many times that is it really that much surprise that he's found one demon he maybe gets along with?

No, even when he thinks of it like that, it's still odd. But he's willing to go along with it. And once again, the distance makes it easier.]

[ There is, in fact, no saying about them, but making it up on the fly is good enough. She gets a kick out of messing with him. It's not actually done out of maliciousness on her part, either, something she refuses to dwell on. ]

They're the best lay you'll ever have. Wanna give it a go sometime?

[ Oh, she remembers that little conversation they had before skipping off to open crypts and snatch tablets. She was serious about that suggestion, because he's been twisted from his original flavor. There's something about that, it really catches her interest. Regardless if he's interested or not. ]

[In a way, Castiel's been expecting this. Both of them remember that conversation, of course, so it had only been a matter of time before Meg brought it up again.

And he still doesn't know what to do with it. The immediate reaction is that fornicating with an abomination is a terrible idea, but he can hardly deny that there's a part of him that's curious -- the same part that had decided to kiss Meg back when she'd made that first move.

But he can't, especially not here. He has siblings here, and while he doubts that Gabriel or Lucifer would care all that much, he would feel the judgment. And imagine Lucifer's gloating if he found out that Castiel had become intimate with one of his creations.

No, it isn't possible. Maybe... maybe if things had played out differently back home, but not here.]

[ There's a part that's slightly disappointed. She can't be sure if it's because it would break up some of the monotony in this place - because it sure as hell gets boring around here - or if there's some other underlying reason. Curiosity, maybe.

She doesn't care to put a name to it, because then that could really complicate things. She prefers keeping it simple. ]

[Castiel has no need for semantics, and he imagines that Meg knows perfectly well why this wouldn't be a good idea. Not here, not in this place with so many of the others here, with people from their pasts that would hardly be able to understand how an angel and a demon could...

No, it can't happen. Meg can make any advances that she wants, but Castiel has to hold steady on this.

He imagines that a demon would be good with that kind of thing, as sex is one of their chosen vices, but he doesn't need to dwell on that thought process for any extended period of time.

In fact, it would be better if he ended this right now.]

[ She knows when she's managed to drag all her jollies out of text time with Castiel. She'll be sure to make it a habit, though, because it turns out it's more fun than she originally thought. ]
