[His inability to deal with Tom had been a combination of not knowing for certain who he was at first, not being able to track him down, and then being too late. His plan had been to capture him before deciding what to do with him, and that would likely apply in other cases, but Castiel's going to act more quickly in the future. He doesn't want a repeat of Valentine's.]

[ Someone may or may not be smiling to himself about that. He likes Cas, regardless of what Adam thinks of angels, or what he's seen of the other Angels. Michael had said Castiel had taken the body he's currently inhabiting from someone else, but Isaac can't help but disagree with the sentiment behind it. Castiel doesn't seem like the type to hold someone hostage in their own body. Maybe the body he's possessing was given to him willingly. Perhaps whoever it belonged to was dead, or in a coma or something. ]

[Castiel says it mainly to assuage some of Isaac's concern. It's not something he's concerned about. Psychopath, werewolf, or both, it won't mean much when measured up to an angel's might.
